ABOUT ME
Hi there!
I'm Gin Alajmo, an Italian freelance illustrator. Being a recent illustration graduate from the University of Hertfordshire in 2025, I am now pursuing a Masters Degree at University for the Creative Arts in the same field.
My work consists of multiple different mediums, including digital and other more traditional mediums such as relief printing and painting. I am located in Rome and temporarily in London as I complete my degree.
Throughout my time as an undergraduate student I worked on both stand alone illustrations and series of works, such as a small comic I did based on Philip Pullman's Once Upon a Time in the North.
Through my independent work I have illustrated images for Casa Nostra and the cover of Altro Tempo, Altrove, both books written by my father, Marco Alajmo.
I love portraying my interest in fantasy themes throughout my work but also enjoy working with more serious and realistic topics.
